Directory Traversal is the control of restricted directories on the website machine. When a hacker gains
access to these directories, commands can be executed on the web server and data can be copied or manipulated
for malicious means. These types of attack as usually carried out by automated bots who feedback information
to the hacker upon successful directory access.
